Konalassa BK CUPin valmistelut alkavat keskiviikkona 23.5.2018, jolloin puretaan aluksi toinen puoli hallista. Keskiviikkona pääsee siis yhä kiipeämään normaalisti, mutta torstaille ja perjantaille ei Konalassa ole juurikaan kiivettävää. Vain keskimuoto ja tuubi jäävät purkamatta, mutta käytännössä keskimuodossa ei mahdu kiipeilemään ympärillä tapahtuvan reititeon vuoksi. Suosittelemme näinä päivinä valitsemaan joko Pasilan, Espoon tai Herttoniemen hallin! Sunnuntaina, lauantain 26.5. kisojen jälkeen, on Konalan halli taas kaikkien käytössä normaaliin tapaan. Mikäli tulette halliin treenaamaan reitinteon aikana, pyydämme kauniisti antamaan reitintekijöille työrauhan!
Mikä ihmeen CUP?
BK CUP 2018 on neljän hallin kisa - yksi kisa jokaisessa hallissa vuoden 2018 aikana! Ensimmäinen kisa käytiin Pasilassa maaliskuussa. Kisa oli mainio ja tunnelma katossa. Seuraava kilpailu on pian käsillä ja se käydään Konalassa 26.5. Tule mukaan kisailemaan, katsojaksi paikan päälle tai tuomaroimaan!
Tuomaroimaan? Kyllä vain: kaipaamme kisoihin aina lisäkäsiä tuomareiden roolissa. Tuomaroinnista ei tarvitse olla ennakkokokemusta - tehtävään perehdytetään kyllä! Jos haluat tulla mukaan tuomaroimaan, ota yhteyttä sähköpostitse: inka@boulderkeskus.com tai lisää nimesi listaan.

The preparations for BK CUP start at Konala on Wednesday 23.5.2018, when the routesetters start taking down problems. It means that on Wednesday the gym is open normally but for Thursday and Friday there is not much to climb. Only the middle section's free standing wall and the tube will remain untouched but in practice the middle wall is out of use too because of routesetting on the walls around it. We highly recommend our other gyms in Pasila, Espoo or Herttoniemi for those days! On Sunday, after the Saturday 26.5. competitions, Konala will be open again for everyone. In case you do decide to come to the gym to train, we kindly ask you to give the routesetters space to work in peace.
What is this BK CUP?
BK CUP 2018 is a CUP with four competitions - one in each gym! The first competition was held in Pasila in March. It was a great comp and the psyche was high. Next competition is soon at hand and it will be held in Konala on the 26.5. Come to compete, watch or judge!
Judge? Yes indeed: we are always looking for a helping hand in the competitions especially when it comes to judging. You don't need any previous experience with the task - we will introduce you to the job beforehand!
